Drink Starbucks, Go to Movies Free (The Legend of the Green Receipt)
I have not found a receipt that is environmentally friendly, nay, I have found a receipt that is actually green in color. Why do I tell you, you may ask, and if you are not asking you should ask because you will want to know what I know. If you attend a Starbucks Coffee Shop in the morning and purchase an overpriced coffee drink, make sure you get your receipt. It will print on green paper and you will be able to return to a Starbucks in the afternoon to spend more money, though less than if you went back without the venerable green receipt. Because that green receipt will force the helpless Starbucks employees to give you a cold grande (medium) drink for only $2. If you don’t regularly frequent (yes, I know that’s redundant, but redundancy makes the world go round) Starbucks, you may ask, “what’s the big deal? I can pour my left-over stale coffee from the morning over ice at home for free.” But at Starbucks they would charge you $3 for that same iced coffee, and if you want a frappacino (a little milk and flavoring blended with ice) they would charge you near $5. So if you give them the green receipt you can save darn near $3. If you buy 10 cold drinks you could save $30, and that can take you to the movies. So drink more Starbucks than your bladder can handle and get a free trip to the movies.
